Silensec and the ITU Arab Regional Cyber Security Center (ITU-ARCC) are delighted to announce that they will continue for the third year running their partnership on the Regional ‘Threat Hunters’ competition.
“In the past three editions of this competition, we have been humbled by the vast support and enthusiasm of the participants from the various Arab countries“, say the organizers.
Due to the unique circumstances affecting this year’s world activities, Regional Threat Hunters 2020 will be delivered in a fully online geographically distributed setting and witnessing the full firepower and high flexibility of the Cyber Ranges platform from Silensec.
“We are anticipating a highly successful event that will bring together the best cybersecurity experts and enthusiasts from multiple locations across the Arab world, including the Gulf.”
Eng. Badar Al Salehi, Head of ITU ARCC, and Dr Almerindo Graziano, CEO of Silensec, have issued the following joint statement:
“This is a further combined effort that helps the Arab nations enhance and develop their dexterity in cybersecurity, sharpening their skillset and competence in the cyber defence of their enterprises and critical infrastructures.
We wish everyone both a challenging and ultimately successful competition. Once again, we want to acknowledge our distinguished partners for their continuous support.”
As to the running of the competition, each participating country goes through their national-level event, with the winners, both individuals and teams, advancing to the Regional Threat Hunters 2020 Final.
