Cyprus, 28 May 2021 – CYBER RANGES by Silensec is proud to be part of the 16th Annual ITWeb Security Summit to be held online on June 1-3. Our CEO Dr. Al Graziano will be an international keynote speaker at this important South African event that will bring together over 50 international, regional and national cybersecurity industry authorities.
Dr. Al Graziano’s keynote address will be about “next-generation cyber ranges – from experiential learning to cyber resilience assessment”. Dr. Graziano advocates for the use of next-generation cyber range solutions to develop the much-needed security skills through experiential learning and simulation exercises.
A growing number of organisations have begun to use cyber ranges for conducting regular cyberattack simulations to test their cyber resilience and cyber readiness, thus supplementing traditional training and tabletop exercises. Gartner estimates that by 2022 the number of large organizations using a cyber range will increase to 15% from 1% at present. In his presentation, Dr, Al Graziano will introduce next-generation cyber ranges and associated technologies, including attack simulation, and typical use cases.
