The journey to build and strengthen the capacity of the next generation of Cyber Security professionals is continuing in Romania. CYBER RANGES by Silensec in collaboration with Cybershare Academy will once again be powering up a national initiative. This initiative has been designed as part of a deliberate effort to scout, educate and encourage the pupils from several Romanian secondary schools with interest in Information and Communication Technology, to become the next generation of cyber security professionals through the provision of a live hands-on situational experience.
Announced on Oct. 31st during the European Cyber Security Month, this CTF has been held on 7th November 2020, with 68 teams of up to 3 members. The Schools interested in their students participating in this CyberSchool CTF, nominated Mentors that validated all the students enrolling on the CYBER RANGES platform. This ensured control and adherence to the GDPR and minors protection standards.
The CTF has been a collaborative between Cybershare Academy and Silensec, ADeSE Association, Romania’s National Cyber Security Incident Response Center and Cyberint National Center, with the National College of Informatics “Tudor Vianu” who have coordinated the activities.

Through CYBER RANGES the Cybershare Romanian Schools CTF participants have ripped the benefits of cyber range technology innovation by being educated early adopters.
