Live Fire Incident Response And Threat Hunting Training

Cyprus, 8 July 2021 – Silensec, ITWeb and Wolfpack are bringing you, for the very first time in Africa, the Live-Fire Incident Response and Threat Hunting Training Programme. This initiative has been designed to expose participants to a number of real-life cyberattack simulations that they are likely to come across in the workplace. Participants will enjoy the opportunity to exercise on CYBER RANGES by Silensec, which is the next-generation cyber range used in the recent AfricaCERT 1st African Cybersecurity Drill.

Incident response teams and SOC analysts need to keep their knowledge and skills up to date with regard to the most relevant and current threats, in order to improve incident handling, teamwork, compliance skills, workflows, run-book usage, and other operational skills.

During the training:

  • Participants will be given access to a simulated infrastructure containing a number of standard systems, processes and applications to be found in a typical corporate environment.
  • Each cyberattack will be simulated through the CYBER RANGES Injector Engine, reproducing both the cyberattacks and the associated Indicators of Compromise (IoC).
  • Participants will be trained on how to detect, prepare for and respond to the simulated attacks.
  • Participants will also receive an expert debrief showing the sample solution and be provided with an opportunity to further discuss the response to similar security incidents.

This is a unique opportunity for you to experience and handle a wide range of cyberattacks, while equipping you with the ability to sharpen your skills in detecting, investigating, mitigating and recovering from cyber events.

The course will be facilitated by Dr. Al Graziano, CEO for Silensec, and will be held on: Aug. 2-3, 2021 8:45-16:30 (GMT+2).
