Performance monitoring is an important skills in Linux. In most cases, you need to be able to measure the following:

  • Memory.
  • Disk.
  • Network. The above can be affected by various resources and service in the system eg number of processes running, users, RAM etc.

Scenario Pre-requisites

It is recommended, but not necessary to be familiar with the following concepts: - basic Linux usage

However, it is still possible to follow the mission and complete the assessment by learning as you go.
