What’s a CyberDrill?
Unlike traditional Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges—which are fast-paced, puzzle-solving competitions—a CyberDrill simulates real-world cyber incidents in a structured, immersive environment.
This is a professional-level training experience where you’ll respond to evolving threats just like you would in a real SOC or cyber defense role. It’s less about racing for points and more about collaborative decision-making, strategic thinking, and applying your technical skills under pressure.

Delivered by CYBER RANGES
The CyberDrill takes place on the CYBER RANGES platform, an advanced cybersecurity experiential training environment used by governments, enterprises, and security professionals worldwide.
Participants will gain access to:

A scoring system to assess both technical skill and teamwork.
A badge of participation to boost their careers.
Open to Women in Cyber – From Beginners to Pros
Who can join?
This CyberDrill is open to women with a technical cybersecurity background, whether you’re an early-career professional or already deep in the field.
Eligible Participants Include:
Cybersecurity professionals (SOC analysts, incident responders, security engineers, penetration testers, etc.)
Technical students or recent grads (must be 18+ with 1–2 years of hands-on experience or formal training in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field)
No team? No problem.
Register as an individual—we’ll group participants into balanced teams based on experience, geography, and technical focus.

There’s no cost to participate. All you need is a team-player mindset and some cyber readiness. In return, you’ll gain:

The winning team will receive:
Two randomly selected members from the winning team will win a trip to Athens, Greece, for W4C’S 2025 Cybersecurity Conference on Sept. 29-30, 2025; round-trip flight and 1-night accommodation paid for (travelling from Europe)
All members of the winning team will gain access to CITADEL Red Team Elite Training by CYBER RANGES. This self-paced package is complete with an exam and digital badge of recognition. CITADEL has been developed in collaboration with HackerSploit.

Don’t have a team? No problem. We’ll build well-balanced teams based on experience, location, and skills to ensure a fair and fun experience for everyone.

Join the Forum & Prep
Once registered, you’ll gain access to the official CYBER RANGES Forum—a dedicated space to:
• Meet your team
• Ask questions
• Get warm-up resources
• Share excitement and prepare for the drill
Step 4
CyberDrill Goes Live (September 2025)
Jump into a 4-hour online simulation where you’ll respond to a realistic cyber incident on the CYBER RANGES platform. It’s hands-on, team-based, and 100% virtual—designed to mirror a real-life SOC experience.
