Cyprus, 12-Apr-2021 – The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) and CYberMouflons are proudly running the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge (CCSC) 2021, which is powered by CYBER RANGES™ by Silensec.
CCSC is a Jeopardy-style Capture the Flag (CTF) competition open to all Cypriot citizens. The challenges have been carefully crafted by members of the CYberMouflons CTF team to span across a variety of such topics as: Cryptography, Pwn, Reverse Engineering, Web Application Security, Forensics, AI and Steganography. At present there are 117 contenders competing for a spot in the European Cyber Security Challenge Team.
Simon Loizides, challenge-hardened mentor and cyber security scenario author for CCSC 2021, reports: “Days have already passed since CCSC 2021 has begun, and this year the competition is fierce with multiple lead changes at the top! Last year’s top finishers and projected favourites have shown their vast improvement over the course of the previous 12 months; on the other hand, some new faces have emerged to solve some of the more interesting challenges this year.”
